Dear Narci.
It was so lovely to see you at the Museum's opening, and I never did get to thank you for making the special trip and taking the time away from your friend in need to come. I'd hoped to be able to take you and Artemisia to tea, at least, but you had to fly off before I'd had a chance to offer. Artemisia was disappointed to learn that I'd got to see you and she hadn't, you see -- and of course you've seen what sort of treatment I get in for when I've disappointed the girl. (She's a little terror -- but then to their fathers, I suppose all little girls are.)
